A couple of weeks ago I got to work with an amazing female artist, Di’Ja. She is well-known in Canada and is quickly making a name for herself in the MD/DC area! She has an awesome voice. Check her out on iTunes and get ready for her to be the next big thing!
Culture Shock DC is a professional hip hop dance troupe in the MD/DC/VA area…and they are awesome! I used to dance with them a while back and let me tell you, they are a bunch of talented people! I was lucky enough to do their photo shoot for the new 2011 group of dancers. We had a ton of fun in downtown DC. Check out their website here and catch a show if you can!!
I recently got to photograph my cousins’ baby, Carter. I have wanted to photograph him for a while now because he is such a cutie. He has the most amazing big blue eyes! This was a shoot for his one year photos. He was not overly thrilled to have me there taking his pictures, but he managed to let a few good ones slip through the cracks! Even when he was mad, he was so cute!
My friends Megan and Kevin just welcomed their sweet little girl Kathleen aka “Leenie” a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to photograph her for the first time. She had just taken a nap when I got there so she was wide awake almost the whole time. It made for some great pictures! Plus Mom had some really cute hats and bows for her to wear. We had a fun time….especially when Leenie peed on Daddy’s leg…more than once 
I told him to get used to it!
My cousin and her boyfriend just got engaged! They are such a fun couple and we had so much fun at the shoot. They are the kind of couple that you can just look at and know that they will be happy together forever
I took Aliyah to see my friend Jimmy who plays the best Santa I’ve ever seen. She was in love! 
I have been MIA a little lately…but it was for the best reason in the world! My husband and I just welcomed our new little girl, Aliyah, into the world. She was born last month. She is the most precious thing I have ever seen, held, heard, you name it. We are enjoying every moment of parenthood. Of course I had to post some pictures!
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jessica and Brian. They had a beautiful ceremony and reception at Crofton Country Club. The wedding was a lot of fun…especially once they got on the dance floor! Being on a golf course, we were able to get some beautiful scenery for the pictures. It rained pretty much the whole day, but just as we were ready to take pictures outside, the weather turned beautiful!
I recently met up with my friends Patryc, Earl, and their adorable son Jared for their Fall photo shoot. Jared has such a great personality! There weren’t many shots where he wasn’t sticking his tongue out at the camera, but we managed to get a few. Silly boy We always have fun on our photo shoots. This year we went to a local park to get some great shots!
